Friends today I am going to share with you some question answer related to Constitution of India. This is mainly about Union executive. This question and answer will cover Article 52 to Article 59. This will definitely help if you are preparing for IAS / WBCS i.e UPSC and PSC exams. I haven’t given the in MCQ form as it will not be so much helpful. I will cover all the topic related to Constitution of India in my future article.

3. How can president of India exercise his executive power?

Ans: The President of India can exercise his executive power either himself directly or through officers subordinate to him and obviously in accordance with the constitution [ Article 53(1)]

5. President of India is elected by indirect election. True or False?

Ans: True (by members of electoral college) [Article 54]

6. Who are the members of the electoral college?

7. How long the President of India can hold his office?

Ans: The president shall hold his office for a term of five years from the date of holding the office. [Article 56]

8. Can the President of India be removed from his post?

Ans: The President can be removed(Impeached) from his office for violation of the constitution. [Article 56]

9. Can the President of India be reelected?

Ans: According to Article 57 of constitution of India, the President of India can be reelected. {article 57]

10. Who is qualified to become a President of India?

Ans: (a) Any Citizen of India (b) Age should be 35 and above (c) qualified for election as a member of the house of the people (d) not holding any office of profit. [Article 58]

11. Can the President of India during his office tenure, be a member of parliament or legislative assembly ?

Ans: No [Article 59]
